Slovak Bethlehem was opened in November 1995. This is the masterpiece of Jozef Pekara, a woodcarver from Rajecke Teplice. Mr. Jozef Pekara has been working on it since 1980. In his work of art he depicts not only the Nativity but also the history of the Slovak nation.
